Historic Season Comes to an End for Marian Women's Lacrosse

MEQUON, Wis. - Marian University women's lacrosse (8-8, 3-3 NACC) saw an historic 2023 season come to an end in the NACC Tournament Semifinals at CUW by a 15-7 final.

  • The Falcons were able to get out to a fast start on the Sabres scoring four of the first five goals of the game.
  • Marian was able to keep pace with CUW in the second quarter with each squad scoring two goals as the Sabres trailed 8-4 going into the break.
  • Concordia Wisconsin was able to pull away scoring five unanswered goals leading 13-4 with 13:45 left to play.
  • The Sabres were able to score two straight goals to cut the deficit to seven, but CUW ended the game with the final two goals.
