ADRIAN, Mich. - Marian University NCAA men's ice hockey (4-6-0, 1-2-1-2 NCHA) finished the first half of the season earning a point at No. 6/8 Adrian behond a 4-3 overtime loss.
 
 
	- The opening period was a fairly even 20 minutes with nothing being decided.
 
	- The Bulldogs then opened the scoring just 19 seconds into the second period for the first goal.
 
	- Just 3:02 later, senior Daunte Fortner netted a short-handed goal to even the tally.
 
	- Marian then took its first lead of the game 1:10 later with a goal from freshman Brendan Bottem, assists to Fortner and senior Jaymes Knee.
 
	- The Bulldogs had an answer with just 6:15 left in the period tying the game at 2-2.
 
	- The 2-2 tally would hold heading into the second intermission.
 
	- Freshman Edison Weeks put Marian ahead, assist from Knee, with just 6:33 left to play.
 
	- Adrian quickly found an equalizer on a power play just 1:48 later to ultimately force overtime.
 
	- The Bulldogs would be the lone squad with chances in the extra stanza netting the game-winner 1:25 in to the extra time to take the extra point.
 
 
 
	- Adrian held a 41-28 advantage for shots with 11 of the Sabres coming in the first period.
 
	- The Bulldogs had double-digit shots in all three of the regulation periods.
 
	- In the face-off circle, Adrian held a slim 42-37 edge.
 
	- The Sabres were scoreless on two power-play chances, while Adrian finished 1-for-4.
 
	- Marian is now 2-3 in one-goal games and 2-2 in games that go to overtime.
 
	- Adrian is now 35-5-2 all-time against Marian with wins in the last five match-ups.
