DAVENPORT, Fla. - Marian University baseball (4-3, 0-0 NACC) heads into two off days after falling to Saint Mary's 7-6 on a walk-off single.

- Saint Mary's was able to score first in the third but the Sabres responded with five unanswered runs.
- Marian would take advantage of three Cardinal errors in the fifth to score four runs.
- A solo home run from junior James Bornick in the seventh then gave Marian a 5-1 advantage.
- The Cardinals cut the deficit in the next half and only trailed 5-2 after seven innings.
- Marian was able to push across an insurance run in the top half of the ninth when junior Gus Walker drove in a run to push the Sabre lead to 6-2.
- Saint Mary's opened the ninth with back-to-back hits and used a late error to plate three unearned runs and earn a walk-off win.
