CLERMONT, Fla. - Marian University softball (6-4, 0-0 NACC) finished its spring trip falling to Ursinus 7-1 and No. 1 Trine 6-0.

GAME 1 (URSINUS - L, 7-1)
- Â A quick start from Ursinus saw the Bears take advantage of Marian errors to take a 5-0 lead after two innings.
- Sophomore Ariana Schliepp would double in a run in the third, but it proved to be the lone tally for the Sabres.
- Ursinus would plate a run in the fourth and seventh to put the final score at 7-1.
- Of the seven Ursinus runs, only two were earned runs.
GAME 2 (No. 1 TRINE - L, 6-0)
- The offense continued to have a tough day in game two as the Sabres took on the top-ranked team in the nation.
- Trine would bring in three runs in the third and three more in the sixth.
- The Sabres were nearly no hit but Schliepp was able to record a hit with two outs in the seventh.
