FOND DU LAC - Marian University softball (14-16, 8-10 NACC) fell to Benedictine twice with final scores of 4-3 and 5-1.

GAME 1
- The Eagles were quickly on the board scoring off of an error in the first.
- The Benedictine lead was brought out to two before Marian got on the board in the third.
- Marian then took a 3-2 lead in the fourth with a pair of runs highlighted by a run-producing single from senior Katelyn Mateanaer.
- The next half inning saw Benedictine tie the game and the Eagles took the lead for good in the sixth.
GAME 2
- Another defensive battle broke out in game two.
- An error allowed Marian to score first in the fourth inning.
- The Marian lead only lasted a half inning as Benedictine immediately answering with a run off of an error as well.
- The 1-1 dead lock would hold until the seventh where Benedictine scored four unearned runs to take the lead for good.
- All five of the Benedictine runs were unearned.
