MILWAUKEE - Junior Riley Richard of Marian University baseball has been selected as the NACC Pitcher of the Week.

Richard (Kieler, Wis.) closed out a dominating season with a shutout against Lakeland. Richard scattered five hits over his 7.0 innings of work as Marian defeated the Muskies 11-0. He would punch out four hitters in the shutout and didn't allow a single runner to reach third base.

Marian University takes on Rockford today, Wednesday, May 8, in the opening game of the NACC Tournament at 2 p.m. from Lisle, Ill.  With a victory, the Sabres will take on Illinois Tech at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, May 9 to open double-elimination play but will be eliminated with a loss.
