FOND DU LAC - No. 5 Marian University ACHA D2 (15-3-0, 9-0-0 NCHL) finished the season series with No. 8 Sault defeating the Cougars 5-1 followed by a 4-2 defeat.
  GAME 1 (W, 5-1)

• A defensive beginning to the game saw neither side score.
• Marian then dominated the second period outshooting Sault 15-9 and scoring three times.
• Cayden Frenette opened the scoring before Sault responded to quickly tie the game at 1-1.
• A power-play goal from Jackson Sweeney gave Marian the lead right back followed by a score from Aiden Tegart.
• The Sabres were able to put the game out of reach in the final period with a power-play goal from Devon Butler and an even-strength score from Justin Doucette.

GAME 2 (L, 4-2)

• It was Sault who had a strong start quickly building a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes of play.
• Gavyn Galloway was the lone goal scorer for Marian.
• The Sabres netted the only score of the second period when Easton Nick lit the lamp to cut the Marian deficit to just one going into the final 20 minutes.
• The Cougars limited Marian in the final period and netted a short-handed empty-net goal to put the final at 4-2.

  GAME 1

• Marian was outshot by a slim 27-26 margin.
• The Sabres held Sault scoreless on eight power-play chances, while the Marian power play was 2-for-5 (.400).
• The victory was the first for Marian over Sault in program history.

GAME 2

• The Sabres oushot Sault in the second period but were outshot 29-17 for the game.
• Neither side had a power-play goal with Marian having five chances and Sault four.
• Marian went 1-2-0 against Sault this season and is now 1-3-2 all-time against Sault.
