DE PERE, Wis. - Marian University NCAA men's ice hockey (0-4-1, 0-3-0 NCHA) was defeated by No. 4/4 St. Norbert by a 5-1 final.
- St. Norbert opened the scoring 6:54 into the game and took that advantage all the way into the second period.
- Junior Caden Carlson evened the score with 4:50 left in the second period with assist from junior Cole Carlson and freshman Andrew Politoski.
- The Green Knights were able to regain the lead heading into the third with a goal at the 17:44 mark.
- St. Norbert built its first multi-goal lead of the night 1:45 into the final stanza.
- A pair of special-teams goals then put the final at 5-1.
- St. Norbert finished with a 49-16 advantage for shots in the game.
- Marian was scoreless on two power-play chances and St. Norbert was 1-for-4.
- The Sabres finished with 31 face-off wins to 33 for SNC.
- Marian has now dropped nine-straight games to the Green Knights.
