FOND DU LAC - Marian University softball (17-13, 12-4 NACC) scored just three runs but swept Lakeland with scores of 1-0 and 2-1 to extend its winning streak to 10 games.

GAME 1
- The opening game saw Marian take advantage of a lead off error to open the scoring.
- Junior Ariana Schliepp was able to drive in junior Hope Matta to bring home the unearned run.
- This was all Marian managed but it was more than enough as sophomore Sabrina Di Vito (8-5) allowed just one hit as part of her fifth shutout.
GAME 2
- Lakeland was on the board first in game two with a sacrifice fly in the second inning.
- The lead didn't last long as Marian took advantage of another Lakeland error in the bottom half of the inning to bring home junior Riley Mankowski and tie the game.
- Then in the third, senior Kendall Pliner brought home sophomore Erin Cowe with a sacrifice fly for what proved to be the game-winning run.
- The Sabres allowed just two hits over the final four innings to seal the win.
- Marian is now 43-47 all-time against Lakeland and snap a four-game skid against the Muskies.
- The 10-game winning streak is the longest winning streak for Marian since 2010.
