FOND DU LAC - Marian University women's lacrosse (5-12, 2-7 NACC) closed out its season with a dominating 18-4 win over Lawrence.

- Â Marian got out to a strong start scoring five goals in the opening quarter as part of a 5-0 lead after 15 minutes.
- Senior Nicole Stachon had three of the Sabre goals in the opening stanza.
- The Vikings and Sabres traded a pair of goals each to open the second period before Marian scored the final five goals of the quarter over a span of 3:12.
- The late run put Marian ahead 12-2 at halftime.
- Just like the first quarter, Marian outscored the Vikings 5-0 in the third quarter and led 17-2 going into the final quarter.
- Sophomore Cielo Martinez found the back of the net to open the fourth quarter before Lawrence scored the final two goals of the game to put the final at 18-4.

- Marian finished with a 41-20 advantage for shots in the victory and limited the Vikings to 11 shots on goal.
- The Sabre defense forced 27 turnovers and held the Vikings to 8-of-26 (.308) on clear attempts.
- Lawrence did have a 14-11 edge in draw controls.
- This was the first meeting between the two programs.
