ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Marian University field hockey (6-0, 0-0 CFHC) stayed perfect on the year with a 2-1 overtime win at Nazareth.

- Marian dominated in shots for the first half but couldn't find the back of the cage leading to a scoreless halftime tally.
- With just 3:42 left in the third quarter, senior Jikke Biemans was able to end the scoreless stalemate and put Marian ahead 1-0.
- The Golden Flyers waited until the final seconds to even the score and force overtime.
- In the second overtime game of the season, freshman Charlotte Touw once again provided the game-winner at the 66:33 mark off of a penalty corner from fellow freshman Shaelyn Klassen.
- Marian held a 19-7 edge in shots and 12-6 advantage for shots on goal.
- The Sabres edged Nazareth in penalty corners by a slim 12-10 margin.
- Marian continues its best start in program history.
- This was the first meeting between the two programs.
