MEN'S SOCCER

It was another tough week for Marian as the Sabres dropped their first two matches of NACC play.  After a 5-0 defeat against St. Norbert at home to open the week, the Sabres hit the road for the first time this season.  Marian nearly spoiled Homecoming for the Stars but Dominican scored a penalty-kick goal and with just 8:17 left to defeat Marian 2-1.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

It was a tough opening week for Marian as the Sabres were blanked against St. Norbert and Dominican to open NACC play.  It will be a busy upcoming week for Marian with the Sabres set to host three home games in a span of four days.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Marian finally returned home but it came with a four-set defeat against Ripon.  The Sabres continued to show signs of promise dropping two of the three sets 25-23.  Senior Alana McDermott made history reaching 1,000 career digs as a Sabre in the match!

FIELD HOCKEY

The Sabres just keep on rolling as the best start in program history keeps on going!  Before the weekend, senior Jikke Biemans was named the CFHC Offensive Player of the Week!  Marian earned a convincing 5-0 win over Keuka to start the week and then defeated Nazareth in overtime 2-1.  Biemans had a pair of goals against Keuka and opened the scoring against Nazareth.  Similarly, freshman Charlotte Touw had two goals against Keuka and scored the game-winner against the Golden Flyers.  Junior Emilee Clarey also had a season-high five saves against Nazareth.

WOMEN'S GOLF

It was a tough pair of days on the links for the Sabres as the Midwest Region Classic was shortened to one round due to weather.  Marian had a 341 in that first round and looked to be making a strong improvement in the second round before the event was halted.  Before the weekend, junior Yinan Lu was able secure a NACC Golfer of the Week award as well!

MEN'S GOLF

Just like the women, the men also battled weather and saw their Midwest Region Classic cut to just one round.  It was a consistent first round, though as Marian shot a 310 after rounds of 309 and 311 the week prior.  Sophomore Wyatt Pfeiffer had his second under-par round of the season with a 71!

WOMEN'S TENNIS

The Sabres had three matches in a busy week and faced tough competition squaring off with MSOE, UW-Oshkosh, and Ripon.  Marian will look to bounce back with a more manageable week only facing off with Wisconsin Lutheran.

ACHA D3

Hockey officially returned to the Marian Athletics lineup with ACHA D3 hitting the ice for the first time this season.  The Sabres had a tough time at home but had a strong bounce back for game two of the series.  Justin Newlin and Brandon Thiesenhusen each scored in game two as Marian was narrowly defeated 3-2.Noah Banes had a strong outing in goal as well stopping 46 shots.
