APPLETON, Wis. - Marian University women's ice hockey (9-9-0, 6-6-0 NCHA) earned a sweep of Lawrence behind a 4-0 road win.

- The Sabres dominated in shots in the opening period but the score remained 0-0 at the first intermission.
- Marian took the lead in a big way with sophomore Zowie Hunter scoring three times in a span of 4:30.
- The opening goal came on a power play and was assisted by junior Olivia Church-Sowinski along with junior Ella Spies.
- Then just 2:06 later, Hunter was assisted by freshman Jillian Newhouse and Crawford to put Marian ahead 2-0.
- Senior Caitlin Traver helped out on the final goal which came with 7:37 left in the period.
- Hunter closed out the scoring at the 8:24 mark of the third period with an unassisted score.

- Marian held a dominating 37-14 advantage in shots for the game.
- The Sabres also had a 34-23 edge in face-offs.
- Marian was 1-for-5Â on the power play, while Lawrence was scoreless on three chances.
- This was the second six-point weekend in NCHA action this season for Marian.
- The Sabres are 10-2-3 all-time against the Vikings.
