MEQUON, Wis. - Marian University NCAA men's ice hockey (8-14-2, 7-10-0 NCHA) clinched a spot in the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs with a 4-3 overtime win over Concordia Wisconsin.

- Marian opened the scoring at the 10:21 mark when senior Noah Pickart lit the lamp with help from fellow senior Quinn Mulder and freshman Andrew Seminara.
- The Falcons tied the game going into the second period scoring with 1:18 on the clock.
- CUW then took its first lead at the 8:46 mark of the second period only for Marian to even the score with 7:10 left in the period.
- Freshman Daxton Lang was the goal scorer for Marian with assists to Seminara and junior Robert Pizzey.
- Marian retook the lead with 9:00 left in the third period when junior Nolan Flint scored a power-play goal with assists to sophomore Eemil Rautio and Pickart.
- With an empty net on the CUW end, the Falcons scored an extra-attacker, short-handed goal in the final 30 seconds to send the game into overtime.
- Marian was able to salvage the extra point when sophomore Brendan Bottem scored 1:06 into the extra frame with an assist to sophomore Nicholas Von Kaufmann.

- Marian held a 31-24 advantage for shots in the game and didn't allow a shot in overtime.
- Each team had 28 wins on face-offs.
- Marian was 1-for-2 on the power play and held CUW scoreless on its two chances.
- Marian has clinched a spot in the NCHA Harris Cup and finish anywhere from sixth to eighth depending on the results of the final day of the regular season.
- The Sabres are now 33-8-1 all-time against CUW with this being the first road win since a shootout victory in 2021.
