FOND DU LAC - Marian University women's ice hockey (13-10-0, 9-7-0 NCHA) completed a six-point sweep of Trine with a 2-0 victory.

- Similarly to game one, neither side could quite find a groove offensively in a scoreless opening period.
- At the 10:39 mark of the second senior Rebecca Larson was able to win a draw that led freshman Jillian Newhouse to open the scoring.
- It proved to be the lone score of the second period and came on a power play.
- Junior Olivia Church-Sowinski took advantage of a breakaway chance at the 12:45 mark of the third period to put Marian ahead 2-0.
- Juniors Ella Spies and Jessica Tadevich each earned an assist on what proved to be the final goal of the game.
- The Sabre defense was able to withstand a total of 4:36 with a Trine extra attacker on the ice to seal a second straight shutout.

- Marian had a 34-19 advantage for shots in the game and a 26-13 advantage over the final 40 minutes.
- The Thunder had 31 wins on draws while Marian had just 22.
- The Sabres scored on their lone power-play chance of the whole weekend, while Trine was scoreless on three chances.
- This was the third six-point weekend for Marian this season.
- The victory clinches a winning record for the Sabre at the end of the regular season.
