FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's volleyball (5-14, 1-6 NACC) earned its first conference victory with a reverse sweep of Illinois Tech.

- Illinois Tech opened the match with a 17-14 advantage only for Marian to score five straight and lead by two.
- The Sabres took their lead out to 22-18 but the Scarlet Hawks responded with five straight to lead 23-22.
- Marian was able to fight off two set-point chances from Tech but the Scarlet Hawks took the opener 27-25.
- The second set was a similarly tight battle leading to a 20-20 stalemate before Illinois Tech scored four straight.
- They eventually took the set 25-21.
- Illinois Tech opened the third with a 13-8 lead but Marian wetn on a 14-6 run to lead 23-20.
- Marian was denied on their first set-point chance but an Illinois Tech attacking error kept the match alive at 25-23.
- The fourth set was nearly identical with late ties at 20, 21, 22, and 23.
- Back-to-back kills from Marian proved to be enough to force a fifth set.
- The them of close battles rang true in the fifth as the squads were tied late in the set at 12, 13, and 14.
- A kill from senior Trent Goo Sun and an attacking error from Illinois Tech closed out the comeback effort for Marian.
