SMYRNA, Tenn. - Marian University women's bowling finished in 26th place at the always competitive Music City Classic.
   

• Marian opened the tournament going 3-2 in Baker play with 4,526 pins and a 181.0 average.
• The victories for Marian came against Carroll, Alabama A&M, and Quincy.
• Traditional play was a little tougher on the Sabres as Marian went just 1-4 with the victory coming against Carthage.
• The Sabres nearly pulled off an upset of No. 5 Wichita State but fell by just six pins.
• Marian finished with 4,383 pins in traditional play to place 25th for bracket play.
• Between the two days, Marian had four matches with more than 900 pins; two in Baker, two in traditional.
• Marian opened bracket play with a seven-game victory over Carroll.
• The Sabres had more than 190 pins in five of the games and closed out the win wiht a 211.
• Marian narrowly fell to Westen Illinois in six games in their second match to earn a rematch with Carroll.
• In another seven-game match, the Pioneers came out victorious defeating Marian 212-193 in the final game.
• The Sabres did have a 202 in their third game of the match.

   

	Kaitlyn Kesler led the Sabres with a 196.8 average to finish 44th.  She had back-to-back games with more than 200 pins to close out traditional play.
	Madison Carriveau averaged 173.8 pins over four games.
	Elana Rimer had a 164.3 average over four games.
