GLENDALE, Wis. - Marian University baseball (11-14, 5-8 NACC) split with Dominican from MSOE falling in the opener 6-4 before a 15-13 win.

GAME 1 (L, 6-4)
- Marian had a couple of chances but it was Dominican who scored two runs in the third and another in the fourth to lead 3-0.
- The Sabres were able to get on the board when junior Jason Sims drove home a run with a sacrifice fly.
- Dominican was able to add to its lead with a pair of runs in the sixth inning.
- Sophomore Ayden Kanaman gave Marian a jolt in the eighth cutting the Sabre deficit down to 5-4 with a three-run homer.
- An unearned run in the ninth gave the Stars enough cushion to win 6-4.
GAME 2 (W, 15-13)
- Dominican was once again able to get out to a good start scoring four runs in the second and two in the third to lead 6-0.
- A two-run triple from Kanaman in the sixth got Marian on the board at 6-2.
- Sophomore Zach Ennis then drove in a run in the sixth to put the score at 6-3.
- The Stars were able to use an error in the seventh to extend its lead to 7-3.
- Marian then sent 16 hitters to the plate in the bottom of the seventh scoring 12 runs.
- The Sabres were able to utilize six walks to take a 15-7 advantage.
- Junior Marc Jones, Sims, junior Danny Santiago, freshman Max Mullane, and Kanaman all brought home at least one run in the frame.
- Dominican wouldn't go away quietly scoring four runs in the eighth and using a two-run homer in the ninth to trail 15-13.
- The Stars were able to put the tying run in scoring position before Marian shut the door to secure the split.

- The Sabres scored double-digit runs for the fifth time in the last six games in the win.
- Marian is now 23-19 all-time against Dominican having won five of the last six games.
