The dynasty of Marian University women's bowling rolled on with the Sabres claiming their sixth straight CCIW Championship.

Marian opened CCIW with a perfect 3-0 mark in traditional play defeating Augustana (Ill.), Carthage, and Elmhurst.  The win over the Blue Jays saw Marian finish with 950 pins, the highest total for a single match of any team.  The total pinfall for Marian was the second-highest in the field at 3,445 pins.  Marian continued its strong start dropping only one match to finish the fall tournament at 5-1.  Marian fell in a close 875-808 Baker match against Carroll to open the second day before convincing wins over Illinois Wesleyan and Aurora.  The 914 pins against IWU was the highest of any team in the field in a single match.  Once again, the total pinfall for Marian was the second-highest in the conference at 2,587 pins.

Opening with Baker format, Marian went 2-1 defeating Augustana (Ill.) and Elmhurst.  Once again, the Sabres had the highest total for a single match at 983 in the win over the Blue Jays.  Marian had the highest total of any team in Baker at 3,724 pins with five games of at least 200 pins.  The switch over to traditional saw Marian dominate and record the three highest scores of any team.  Marian opened with a 1,072-946 win over Carroll.  The Sabres then had a pair of convincing victories over Aurora and Illinois Wesleyan.  The Sabres finished with 3,013 pins in traditional, 276 more pins than the second-place team.  The 6,737 pins in total for the day was also 334 more pins than the second-best team.  

Along with claiming their sixth straight CCIW Championship with a 10-2 record, Marian earned the top seed for the CCIW Tournament.  Marian opened with a 2-1 win over Carthage before a 2-1 defeat in the winner's bracket against Carroll.  The Sabres staved off elimination with a convincing 2-0 win over Carthage once again before the season came to a close against Carroll with another 2-1 match.  Marian nearly forced a winner-take-all seventh match but couldn't hold on to a 3-2 lead in Baker format, including a sixth game that Carroll defeated the Sabres by just one pin.

Marian was well represented on the All-Conference lists as a result of their continued success with four All-CCIW picks.  Kaitlyn Kesler and Elana Rimer were each First Team All-CCIW award winners, while earning a spot on the second team was Katie Bialke and Brianna Clemons.  Dan Mueller was named the CCIW Coach of the Year for the second time in three seasons.  Through the six seasons of CCIW bowling, Marian has had 12 All-CCIW First Team recipients and eight Second Team award winners.
