MILWAUKEE - Marian University women's volleyball (4-12, 0-3 NACC) took the opening set but was defeated in four sets by Wisconsin Lutheran 20-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-14.

- WLC cut that lead down to 20-18, but Marian was able to score the next three points to pull away and win the set.
- The Warriors used a 7-2 run in the middle of the second set to lead 15-8.
- Marian was able to cut that deficit down to three but WLC finished the set on a 4-1 spurt.
- The third set saw Marian trail 10-6 before Wisconsin Lutheran pulled away with a 9-2 run.
- Needing a win, the Sabres opened the fourth set with an 8-6 lead.
- Wisconsin Lutheran then scored 11 of the next 13 points to build a 17-10 advantage.
- The Warriors closed out the match strong as well scoring five of the final six points.

- The Warrior defense held Marian to a .008 hitting percentage and forced 30 attacking errors.
