2023: Was named a Second Team All-NACC pick after leading the Marian offense.He finished the season with five goals and three assists for 13 total points, all of which led Marian. Cowden had an especially strong finish to his career recording 11 points in the final seven games of the season. In the final two games of the season, Cowden had a multi-goal game against Lakeland and an assist against Edgewood to earn a NACC Offensive Player of the Week award.
2022: Earned First Team All-NACC honors, CSC Academic All-District recognition, and an All-Wisconsin selection. Finished the season with eight goals with seven assists for 23 total points. He posted five points in a pair of games scoring twice with an assist against Aurora and at Dominican. Cowden also had a four-point game against Lakeland where he scored once and had a pair of assists. The Sabres were unbeaten this season when Cowden was able to find the back of the net. For his career, Cowden is tied for 14th on the Marian all-time scoring list and his 24 career assists is third all-time.
2021: Earned his spot on the All-NACC list for a second season after being named All-NACC honorable mention during the spring season. Cowden had a dominant season especially in the assist category tying a single-season Marian record with 13 helpers on the year. At the conclusion of the regular season, he not only led the NACC for the category but was tied for the most assists in the entire nation. Cowden earned an assist in 11 matches this season with three of his assists coming in the season opener against Lawrence. He also had a pair of goals on the season, one of which was part of a three-point match against Edgewood, to bring his season total to 17 points. Through just 26 games in his career, Cowden is tied for eighth in Marian history for career assists with 17.
2020-21: Made an immediate impact in his first season as a Sabre being named All-NACC honorable mention. Cowden had a pair of multi-goal games with four assists for 12 points on the season, second on the team. His first multi-goal game came against Edgewood, and then he followed that up with two goals and an assist in a 3-1 non-conference win over Ripon. Cowden was able to finish the season recording at least one point in five of the final six games of the year.
High School: Earned four varsity letters in soccer at Kentwood High School. Served as a captain helping lead his team to a State Cup, Surf Cup, and appearance in the state quarterfinals. Earned several awards including SPSL second team midfielder, NFSL second team defender, and NPSL first team defender.
