All-NACC Honorable Mention (Nov. 2, 2022)
2022: Earned her second All-NACC Honorable mention selection. Batzner would score eight goals on the season and added a pair of assists for 18 total points. She proved to be a timely goal scorer with three of her goals serving as game-winners. Batzner had three multi-goal games including a hat trick at Ripon that highlighted a stretch of 10 points in the first five games of the season. Her other multi-goal games came in back-to-back victories for the Sabres with Marian defeating Aurora at home and Lakeland on the road.
2021: Started in all 18 games she appeared in playing as both a defender and midfielder during the season. Went on to score five goals with two assists for 12 points with 10 of her points coming during a five-match scoring streak to close out the regular season. Recorded the first multi-goal game of her career against Aurora with her second goal serving as an overtime winner. She finished the season with three game-winners.
2020-21: Had a strong bounce-back season in the Sabre back row to earn the first all-conference selection of her career, an honorable mention honor. Batzner started in all 10 games this season scoring her lone goal at home against MSOE. The Marian defense helped post three shutouts on the season and the Sabres had a 2.64 goals-against average as a squad. Batzner has five goals and two assists over 32 games started for 12 total points in her career.
2019: Started in both games she played in before her season was cut short due to injury. Scored a goal in the season opener against Beloit.
2018: Started in all 20 games scoring three goals with a pair of assists. Scored her first-career goal in an 8-0 win over Lakeland and followed that up with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over Concordia Chicago. Her goal against the Cougars proved to be the game-winner.
High School: Was a three-sport standout at Oostburg High School earning four varsity letters in soccer and basketball along with three letters in volleyball. In soccer, she served as a captain along with earning all-conference honorable mention, all-area honorable mention, and three first team all-conference awards. In volleyball and basketball, she was also a captain earning three more all-conference awards in total. She also went on to record 1,000 digs in her volleyball career.
