TACOMA, Wash. - Marian University men's soccer (0-3-0, 0-0-0 NACC) fell in a defensive thriller to Puget Sound by a 1-0 final.
The Sabre offense got out to a slow start and were held without a shot through the first 45 minutes of action. The Marian defense kept the Sabres in the game allowing just two shots on goal in the opening half, however, UPS was able to score at the 22:33 mark off of a free kick. The offensive struggles continued for both sides in the second stanza with each team only managing one shot on goal. The Sabres were able to outshoot the Loggers by a 5-4 margin in the second.
