Marian women's lacrosse sets program record for goals in win at Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Marian University women's lacrosse (1-2, 0-0 NACC) earned its first win of the season scoring a program record 20 goals.

  • Marian scored six goals in the first six minutes of the game as part of a 10 goal-period.
  • The Sabres would score five more goals in the second quarter to lead 15-0 at halftime.
  • Spalding would end the shutout with the first goal of the second half but Marian scored the final five goals of the game to set the final at 20-1.

Junior Dallas Kreisa had a three-point game with two goals and led Marian with six ground balls to go with five draw controls.
