MILWAUKEE - Marian University women's volleyball (3-21, 2-8 NACC) was defeated in five sets at MSOE after giving up a late lead in the fourth set; 22-25, 25-10, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9.

- The opening set was a seesaw battle before MSOE took a 20-15 lead after scoring four straight points.
- The Raiders brought their lead out to 22-19 before Marian scored six straight points to take the opening set.
- MSOE opened the second set with a 12-3 lead and never looked back to even the sets.
- The third set opened with a 9-6 MSOE lead before Marian scored eight straight points to lead by five points.
- Marian held onto that lead the remainder of the way to take the third set.
- The Sabres had a 14-12 lead to start the fourth and extended that lead to 20-14.
- Marian led as late as 22-17 before the Raiders forced a fifth set with eight straight points.
- Using that momentum, MSOE was able to start the fifth with an 8-3 advantage which was all the Raiders needed for a comeback win.

- The Raiders edged Marian in kills 64-45 and digs 79-78.
- MSOE also had 10 service aces to only five for Marian.
- The Sabres held MSOE to a -.029 hitting percentage in the opening set, but the Raiders hit over .400 in the second and fifth set.
- Marian is now 49-15 all-time against MSOE with the defeat snapping a three-match winning streak in the all-time series.
