Alex Vassilakis grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds, but Marian University men's basketball (1-2, 0-0 NACC) lost a neutral-site barn burner with Augsburg, 70-66.

- The Sabres started out hot, connecting on five of their first eight attempts to take an early 11-2 lead.Â
- Marian extended the lead to double figures following a jumper from senior Derek Lindert at 13:00.
- After switching to a zone defense, Augsburg was able to find some life. The Auggies slowly chipped at the deficit, eventually taking their first lead off a three-pointer at 2:18.
