FOND DU LAC - Marian University softball (15-13, 8-4 NACC) defeated St. Norbert 3-2 in nine innings and 5-0 pushing its win streak to eight games.

GAME 1
- Marian opened the scoring for the twin bill when junior Riley Mankowski drew a bases-loaded walk in the second.
- The lead didn't last long as SNC hit a solo home run in the next half inning to tie the game.
- The Sabres quickly retook the lead in the bottom of the third when senior Kendall Pliner drove in a run with a single.
- A two-out single in the top of the fifth saw SNC tie the game at 2-2 and eventually force extras.
- Junior Hope Matta was able to break the tie in the bottom of the ninth with a two-out double.
GAME 2
- The Marian pitching staff tossed his ninth shutout of the season in game two.
- Junior Ariana Schliepp was able to open a busy third inning with a single to drive in a run.
- A triple from junior Sofia Cerullo later in the inning scored two runs and put Marian ahead 3-0.
- A first-and-third double steal closed out the four-inning frame.
- Another first-and-third situation in the fifth saw Mankowski steal home and put the final at 5-0.
- Marian is 10-24 all-time against St. Norbert but has won six of the last seven meetings.
