ANGOLA, Ind. - Marian University NCAA men's ice hockey (7-14-2, 6-10-0 NCHA) suffered a sweep to No. 12/13 Trine falling 6-4.

- Back-to-back power-play goals from Trine gave the Thunder a 2-1 lead.Â

- Trine was able to retake the lead once more with 1:59 on the clock and iced the game with a final-minute goal.

- Face-offs narrowly favored the Thunder at 39-36.
- Marian was 1-for-2 on the power play and Trine finished 2-for-6.
- This is the first conference sweep without earning any points Marian has suffered since Nov. 14-15 against No. 4/4 St. Norbert.
- Marian falls to 1-11-0 on the road against Trine.
- The Sabres can clinch a spot in the NCHA Harris Cup before next weekend if Dubuque drops any points to Lawrence in its series.
