2024: Was an All-NACC second team pick, her third all-conference award, and CSC Academic All-District honoree for a second time.  Matenaer was one of two Sabres to start in all 45 games this season and led the team in extra-base hits, slugging percentage, runs driven in, and hits.  She finished the season with teh third-best batting average at .362 with 31 runs driven in and 25 runs scored.  Matenaer slugged for extra bases 14 times on the year with nine doubles and five long balls.  She was held without a hit in only 11 games during the season with 17 multi-hit efforts.  Matenaer had an especially strong performance in the Edgewood series where she was 4-for-6 (.667) with four runs scored, five runs driven in, and three of her home runs.  In the NACC Tournament, she was 7-for-15 (.467).

2023: Earned CSC Academic All-District honors to go with an All-NACC Second Team selection.  She had another big season in the heart of the Marian lineup finishing the regular season second in the conference for runs batted in with 35 to go with a .627 slugging percentage.  Matenaer was sixth in the NACC with her six home runs, while her 74 total bases was good for eighth at the end of the regular season.  Defensively at shortstop, she committed just nine errors on 128 total chances for a .930 fielding percentage.  Matenaer earned one NACC Player of the Week award this season after leading Marian to wins over Northland and UW-Stevens Point to open the season.  In that twin bill, Matenaer went 3-for-4 in each game with three home runs, eight driven in, and a 2.125 slugging percentage.  Matenaer is an exercise and sport science major with a 3.76 grade point average.

2022: Did it all for the Sabres at the top of the batting lineup to earn All-NACC First Team recognition.  Matenaer ranked in the top-11 of the NACC for all hitting averages ranking sixth in the conference with a .441 batting average to go with a .483 on-base percentage and .658 slugging percentage.  Her 49 total hits on the season also put her eighth in the conference.  Matenaer had 16 games with multiple hits and ended the season with five straight multi-hit efforts.  She posted a pair of four-hit performances with one coming in a 14-6 win over Lakeland where she was 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, and two runs driven in.  In a doubleheader with then-ranked No. 16 MSOE, Matenaer went 6-for-7 (.857) at the plate with a pair of runs scored.  On the defensive side of things, Matenaer was more than reliable at shortstop all season long boasting a 93.5-percent fielding percentage.  She was also a part of five of the 10 double plays Marian turned during the season.

2021: Played in 37 games hitting .333 on the year with a .349 on-base percentage.  Recorded 26 hits on the season scoring 12 runs with two doubles and a triple leading to a .385 slugging percentage.  Drove in 14 runs on the year only striking out twice in 78 at bats.  Stole a pair of bases without being caught.

High School: Earned varsity letters in softball, basketball, and volleyball at West Bend East High School.  Was named a second-team All-North Shore Conference selection as a sophomore and junior after hitting .423 and .357, respectively.  Also earned the Coach's Award as a freshman and the Team First Award as a senior in basketball.
