(Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University concluded their season on Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 defeat against the top-ranked team in the nation. UW-River Falls jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period and never looked back, scoring three times in the second and four in the third. Marian finished the season 1-23-1. 

The Falcons dominated play, out-shooting Marian 76-23 in the contest. They scored twice on the power play as well.

Kait Mason had a big game for the Falcons, scoring three goals and adding an assist. Emma Nordness and Jessica Thompson both had three points for the Falcons in the contest. 

Marian's Kaytlin Ruzicka (Wauconda, IL) stopped 67 shots for the Sabres.
