Caroline (Coughlin) Lampereur is a trailblazer for women's athletics at Marian University.

A member of the inaugural women's cross country program, Caroline quickly rose to the occasion for the Sabres.

In 1990, Caroline was the first Marian national qualifier for the NAIA cross country championships. In route to qualifying for the national meet, she was the 1990 Lake Michigan Conference individual champion. At the NAIA regional championships, Caroline crossed the finish line in 17th place and finished 157th at the national meet.
