Mike Schaible enters the hall of fame as the most decorated baseball player ever to come through Marian. He was a four-time First Team All-Lake Michigan Conference and All-District 14 selection and two-time All-Midwest Region and NAIA All-American honorable mention pick.

As a senior, he slugged 14 home runs and drove in 52 RBI, while hitting .387 at the plate to take LMC and All-District Player of the Year honors. Upon his induction, he remained holder of several Marian records as he maintains his all-time career lead in games played (194), hits (218), doubles (53), home runs (36), runs scored (190), RBI (203), walks (128) and total bases (387). He ranks third in both slugging (.667) and on-base (.489) percentage.
