    Men's Basketball, Coach
Mark Boyle served as the head coach for the Marian men's basketball program for 30 years and becomes the sixth coach to enter the Hall of Fame.  Boyle began his tenure with Marian athletics in 1988 and led the Sabres to 390 victories, five conference championships, and two trips to the NCAA Tournament.  The Sabres also won five conference tournament championships with the titles in 2001 and 2014 leading to the pair of national tournament appearances.  During the LMC era of his career, Boyle led Marian to a 154-92 (.626) record with four of his conference championships.  The Sabres had 10 winning seasons during the LMC years before he helped transition the program in the NACC era.  His best season as a coach came during the NACC era after Marian went 22-7 with a 17-3 conference ledger in the 2013-14 season.  That season marked just the second time in the history of the program a team reached the 20-win plateau and also served as the first NACC Championship.  Over his tenure, Boyle coached 17 of the 19 student-athletes who have reached 1,000 career points, 64 all-conference selections, eight all-district honorees, five Player of the Year winners, and one Freshman of the Year.  Boyle earned five Coach of the Year awards coming in 1990, 1991, 2001, 2008, and 2014.
