Jessica (Krzewina) Fakes was a member of the softball and volleyball teams at Marian from 1996-2000. As a member of the volleyball team, she was named to the LMC All-Newcomer team in 1996 and helped lead the Sabres to three consecutive LMC Conference Championships from 1997-1999. Currently, she ranks third in Marian history for service aces and digs and is fourth in program history for sets played. On the diamond, she was named LMC All-Conference in 1999 and 2000 along with being named the LMC Player of the Year in 2000. She also went on to be named Third Team All-Region by the NFCA in that 2000 season as she led the Sabres to a conference championship. Over her career, she threw 590.0 innings with a 2.81 earned average ranking second in program history in strikeouts and complete games, third in wins and fourth in shutouts.
