Tanya (Leonhard) Wiesner set the standard for women's basketball players at Marian over her four-year career. Wiesner was LMC Rookie of the Year in 1994, followed by All-LMC honors in her next three seasons as well.

In 1995, she averaged 23 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, earning her NAIA All-Region and Third Team All-American honors. Two years later, she repeated as an All-American selection after averaging 20.4 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. Her impeccable knack for getting to the basket enabled her to post 1,958 points in her career, which, upon her induction, stood as the most in school history. Her 19.2 points per game scoring average were also tops on the list.

She also ranked atop the record books in field goals made (755), free throws made (446), rebounds (1,127), rebound average (11.0) and steals (201). She was third all-time in field goal percentage (.479) and blocked shots (85).
