Casey Jackson left his mark after just two seasons with the men’s basketball team, transferring from Kaskaskia Community College in 1987. He was a two-time All-Lake Michigan Conference First Team selection, including the 1987-88 season, where he also garnered All-WCIC and NAIA All-District honors after leading the Sabres to their most prolific season in school history.

That year, Jackson led the Sabres to a 29-5 overall record and a 14-0 mark in the LMC, while making an NAIA District Playoffs appearance. Jackson scored 1,078 points in his two seasons, which stood, upon his induction, as the 12th highest total in Marian history. His 16.6 points per game scoring average ranked tops on the list.
