CJ Koroll (Roselle, Ill.) was a dual-sport athlete and has earned his spot in the Marian Hall of Fame after playing golf and hockey from 1997-2000.  Koroll is one of the top scorers in Sabre men's hockey history ranking second in program history with 72 goals, 144 points, 23 power play goals, and eight hat tricks.  His second season with the Sabres proved to be his best year as he helped lead Marian to a 16-9-1 record with 30 goals and 54 points, both rank second-highest in program history for a single season, earning him All-MCHA first-team recognition.  In his final season with the Sabre men's hockey program, he would earn second-team All-MCHA honors behind a 45-point season that saw him tie a single-season Sabre record with 12 power play goals.  On the golf course, Koroll was just as successful being named the LMC Player of the Year in 1997 and 1998.  Koroll still ranks sixth all-time with a 79.1 stroke average over his career.
