Paul Sanchez lettered four years in soccer as a defender at Marian. Sanchez served as the backbone of four NAIA District Playoff teams, including a 1993 Lake Michigan Conference Championship squad that went 8-0 in LMC play and allowed just five goals to league opponents.

He ranks 12th on the all-time scoring list with 14 goals and 13 assists for 41 points in 73 contests. As a sophomore, he tallied three goals and five assists to earn All-LMC, NAIA All-District and All-Area honors.

A year later, he was an honorable mention NAIA All-American after tallying 15 points (7 goals, 1 assist). As a senior, he made it three straight seasons as an All-LMC and All-District selection.
